HELP DESK AGENT [TIER I/II]/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, CRYSTAL CITY VA
We are looking to hire Junior, Mid and Senior Level Help Desk Technicians for an immediate need in the Crystal City, Virginia area.
- Hours: 24/5 schedule
- Flexible and varying schedules

- Possible weekend support required
- Clearance required - Secret level or higher
- 2 years minimum previous IT or Help Desk experience
- Experience with Federal Government plus
- Seasoned in both Hardware, Software and overall IT infrastructure knowledge
- Requires knowledge of Desktop/Laptop Environments, LAN/WAN, email, Active Directory, Exchange, Spyware, and VPN.
- Experience with Remedy or other Help Desk tracking software required
- Experience with Tivoli, Open view, and other service management packages a plus
- Provide onsite or remote support for one or more of the following user systems (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, handhelds, servers, LANs/WANs).
- Provide full support of systems for break-fix, install, move, add, change, and preventative maintenance activities on hardware and software components. Perform additional support activities including monitoring, back-ups, scripting, imaging, patch implementation, incident resolution, account maintenance, password resets, system upgrades and data migrations. Conduct hardware software, and network troubleshooting and problem resolution within the IT systems environment.
- Research problems, makes recommendations for solutions, and repairs or rebuilds systems to appropriate specifications. May interface with clients to determine suitable hardware/software to meet user requirements. Track hardware/software inventory. All candidates need to be USMS security cleared preferably and then alternative active clearances would be TS/SSBI; TS; and Secret (in that ranking) clearances in the law enforcement area (i.e. DEA, ATF, FBI, DOJ).
JR./INTERMEDIATE/SR. INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST, WASHINGTON DC
Looking for team players to provide certification and accreditation (C&A) support in designing, developing, engineering and implementing solutions to security requirements. This is a mission critical position that will monitor the health, status, and availability of security devices.
- Must have a working knowledge of network security, reliability, and accessibility.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information.
- Some general user training and awareness measures may be required.
- Must have comprehensive understanding of systems' technical functions and be able to ensure that security features are installed and enabled in accordance with the provisions of this instruction and reference.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining user accounts and for controlling access in accordance with need-to-know, as directed.
- Junior level positions require 1-2 years experience and a current certification; minimum requirement Security+ (i.e. CISSP, Security +); must have knowledge of DITSCAP and DIACAP guidelines; Gold Disk, UNIX SRRs (LINUX, RedHat, etc.); and eEye Retina. Position requires professional demeanor, ability to interact will all levels of personnel.
- Minimum Secret security clearance is required with the ability to secure TS.
INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY OFFICER (ISSO), NATIONAL
- Responsible for providing risk assessment, especially with NIST 800-30, threat identification, system security categorization, gap analysis, compliance reporting; security analysis experience, especially trend analysis, incident response, encryption; security assessment experience doing vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, system hardening, system integration, packet sniffing; and software development experience a plus given the unit supporting.
- Must be able to apply and validate patches; develop, track, create and manage POA&Ms; and able to handle site accreditation.
- Operational security experience a definite plus.
- Security plan knowledge and creation experience a definite plus.
- Knowledge of and experience with quality assurance and continuous monitoring.
- Experience working in SCIF a plus.
- Knowledge of INFOSEC Assessment Methodology/Evaluation Methodology (NSA IAM/NSA IEM) required.
- Will contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of analysis operations through technical innovation, procedural refinement, training of analysts and analyst oversight.
- Accountable for the real-time analysis, commentary and handling of security events.
- Must demonstrate the analysis system and analyst capabilities, design processes and complex spreadsheets to support Certification & Accreditation, Patch Management, Personnel Clearances / Training, Password Change Management, Vulnerability Assessment Reporting, Network Inventory, Expense Reports, System Hardening and consolidation. Qualifications: One of the following certifications is required CISSP/CISM/CAP/GSLC/Top Secret clearance required (with SCI preferred) or must be able to obtain SCI/Excellent customer service/Experience using scanning tools/devices Skills/Abilities: People skills, team player, strong written and verbal communications skills, client-facing experience, self-disciplined and ability to multi-task.
