The V-Tech testing team provided the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Office of Information Management with full testing lifecycle support as stated under FDA's Enterprise Performance Life Cycle Framework (EPLC) framework.
All Federal agencies in the United States must have their IT systems and infrastructure certified and accredited. The FDA Office of Information Management required full testing lifecycle support as stated under FDA's Enterprise Performance Life Cycle Framework (EPLC) framework.
V-Tech supported Independent Validation & Verification (IV&V) of software development deliverables, performance testing, and post implementation testing activities for the FDA Office of Information Management.
V-Tech utilized FDA and industry best practice methodologies to support testing activities. Testing activities included the use of FDA-approved automated test management, functional and performance testing tools. In addition, all testing outcomes were supported with documented artifacts as stated in the EPLC.
Testing responsibilities supported each applicable test phase within the EPLC framework where activities, responsibilities, reviews, and deliverables were defined. The testing team was responsible for test support activities for three specific types of FDA applications: Enterprise, Large, and Legacy Applications.

At the request of the FDA, V-Tech provided other testing support including FDA-wide upgrades, technology refresh and scheduled and unscheduled "defect" fixes.
